Finalist for Urban Land Institute Award
The City of Buda is pleased to announce that our new Municipal Complex is a finalist for an Urban Land Institute (ULI) Impact Award. The ULI recognizes and celebrates projects that achieve excellence in land use practice.

Sunfield Station
Ribbon Cutting
We enjoyed celebrating the opening of Sunfield Station! The facility is a 30,000 square foot multi-use sports complex located on Main Street (2610 Main Street ) near US Foods on the City's east side. When you factor in the associated sports retail space, the building is around 60,000 square feet. Indoor volleyball is the primary focus, but it can also be used for basketball or other sports. It's now open for use.

City of Buda WaterSmart Customer Portal Open
City of Buda has partnered with WaterSmart Software to offer residents a digitalized way of seeing real-time water consumption through this free service on mobile devices.

Water My Yard Weekly Water Recommendations
A s part of the City’s continued effort to conserve water, the City of Buda has partnered with LCRA and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension to provide customers with a weekly recommendation on how much water to apply to their lawn. Over 50% of landscape water is wasted due to overwatering, inefficient watering practices, and broken or poorly maintained irrigation systems. Water My Yard will help determine exactly how much to water based on scientific weather instrumentation located in Buda.

Visit the website in the link below to sign up to receive a weekly email or text message for watering recommendations customized to your sprinkler type.

Tips For Maintaining
Your Irrigation System
Ensuring your irrigation system is properly working and following the recommended watering schedule will not only save water, but will save you money. It is important to visually inspect your irrigation system routinely to make sure you are getting the most efficient use.

Budafest 2019 Canceled
With so many on going and upcoming construction projects in downtown Buda, the City of Buda has made the difficult decision of canceling Budafest 2019. However, Budafest will return in 2020 bigger and better to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The City will be hosting other holiday events like Trail of Lights, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Main Street Sip & Stroll.
