UPCC SEPTEMBER Community Concert

Concerts are FREE and open to the public and we are bringing in Hoodoo Honey for our SEPTEMBER Community Concert.
The concert will be inside the UPCC in the main room. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the concert starts at 6:00 pm. Woodies Bar is open and the Food Truck will be serving starting at 5:30 pm.
Hoodoo Honey is a blues style band that gets you moving and grooving to blues music.

Mueller State Park Programs SEPTEMBER 2025
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
Junior Rangers on the Trail 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Meet at Outlook Ridge Trailhead
Have you ever wanted to learn more about the forest and hiking at Mueller State Park? Hike to the first outlook, learn about hiking safety and become a Junior Ranger. If you attend all three different Junior Ranger programs you can earn a special badge. Children and their grown ups should attend together.
Basic Survival for Kids 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Meet at Camper Services
How do you prepare for a hike? What should you pack? What do you do if you get lost? Learn survival skills everyone can use. This program is geared towards kids and their guardians, but all are welcome. Ages 5 and up.
Wildlife Viewing Hike 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Meet at Black Bear Trailhead
Spend National Wildlife Day on a hike through the forest and meadows in search of wildlife who call the park home like mule deer, black bear, foxes, elk, great horned owls and more. Also spend some time exploring the old Osborn Homestead. Bring a headlamp or flashlight, binoculars and water. This is a 2 mile, moderate hike. There are only so many spots to increase the likelihood of seeing animals so you must register online or by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366. Seeing wildlife is not guaranteed.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
Archery 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Meet at Dragonfly Pond Parking Lot
Whether you’re new or a pro to the sport, archery at Mueller is a great time to test your skills. All supplies are provided, simply come with your listening ears and a good attitude. All ages are welcome; foam bows are available for younger kids. Some adaptable equipment is also available. Call for more details. 719.687.2366.

Meet at the Amphitheater
Join the Mile High Bug Club for a fascinating Moth Night at Mueller! Explore the world of moths and other nocturnal insects as we observe these amazing creatures up close in their natural habitat. Whether you’re a seasoned entomologist or just curious about nighttime critters, this event is perfect for all ages. Bring your flashlight, a sense of wonder, and your love for nature.
