How do you prepare for a hike? What should you pack? What do you do if you get lost? Learn survival skills everyone can use. This program is geared towards kids and their guardians, but all are welcome. Ages 5 and up.

2-3:30 p.m. Meet at Lost Pond Trailhead
Do you know why tree leaves change color? Use your sense of sight, touch, hearing and smell to connect to changes we experience in fall on this 1 mile hike.
Fri, Oct. 2: Halloween Sing-Along
4:30-5:30 p.m. Meet at Camper Services
Sing-along to some of your favorite and familiar tunes in this upbeat, interactive event while moving and clapping to the rhythm! Bring your ukulele or guitar if you play.
Sat, Oct. 3: Big Backyard
2-3:30 p.m. Meet at the Amphitheater
Discover what animals live in the park and how to identify them with their tracks and scat (poo!). This program is geared towards ages 5-12, but all are welcome.

Listen to stories from the perspective of plants and animals to learn how all living things are connected to the night sky and how you can protect them.

Travel back in time as you explore the remains of the Osborn Homestead built in 1915 on this 4.5 mile hike with experienced volunteer naturalist, Rose
