The Colorado Vintage Baseball Association will square off against our own local first responders. Archery

10:00 am - 12:00 pm -- Meet at Dragonfly Pond Parking Lot

(Registration required)

Test your skills or try a new one at this beginner archery class. All supplies are provided, simply come with your listening ears and a good attitude. All ages are welcome; bows have a draw weight of 6-20lbs. A nerf bow station will be available for those unable to

Noticing Nature Hike and Bracelet Workshop

1:00 - 3:00 pm -- Meet at Outlook Ridge Trailhead

Take time to notice the small details that make nature beautiful. Join us for a slow one-mile hike followed by a bracelet-making activity based on what in nature inspires you.

Fly Fishing Basics Plus

9:00 am - 1:00 pm -- Meet at the Visitor Center

This is the ultimate beginners class with in depth, classroom style class on equipment, technique and reading the water. Then end with an hour or more time on the water. Participation in a Mueller fly fishing basics program or personal experience fly fishing is required. Lichens Hike

10:00 am - 12:00 pm -- Meet at Peak View Trailhead

Lichens are everywhere, but they are experts at playing hide-and-seek. They look like crust on a tree or rock, but are actually tiny living worlds hiding right in front of your eyes. Come take a closer look and see what secrets they’re keeping on this 1 mile hike.

Biking Workshop

Jump into mountain biking with ranger and certified biking instructor Marisa. Mountain bikes and e-bikes welcome. Learn essential gear and safety, sharpen skills such as positioning and bike/body separation, then cap it off with a fun ride through the park! Must bring your own bike and helmet. Ages 15+. Bingo Nature Hike

1:00 - 2:30 pm -- Meet at Wapiti Nature Trail

Get outside and explore with a Bingo Nature Hike! Search for plants, animals, and other natural treasures, make new discoveries, and maybe win a small prize.
