As the distribution date for The House on Jonathan Street approaches on February 3rd, there has been a flurry of activity surrounding the documentary:
The World Channel, the Public TV documentary Channel, will broadcast The House on Jonathan Street on February 14th at 4:00 PM, with rebroadcasts to follow. The World Channel is broadcast in 170 markets across the United States.
Infobase, the world's largest distributor of educational material to schools and libraries, has acquired the educational rights to the documentary.
WHUT, Channel 32 in Washington, will broadcast The House on Jonathan Street on February 4th at 1:00 PM and February 5th at 5:00 PM.
MPT will broadcast The House on Jonathan Street in March, date TBD.
Dozens of other broadcasts around the country will be scheduled within the next month.
It is expected that there will be at least 300 broadcasts of The House on Jonathan Street during the February time period.
A screening of the film will take place on the evening of February 8th at a major cultural venue in Washington, DC. Details to be forthcoming.
