SOFTBALL SUCCESS - With a four-game sweep over Colorado Mesa, the CSU Pueblo softball team is solidly in second place in the RMAC standings as the Pack is in the midst of a school-record 14-game winning streak with four weekends left in the regular season. The ThunderWolves (23-5 RMAC, 27-11 overall) play at UCCS (18-10, 24-13) this weekend, followed by a series at the Rawlings complex with MSU Denver (17-11, 24-14) on April 17-18. The Pack is at Colorado Mines (12-15, 16-21) on April 25-26 and entertains 10th-ranked and RMAC leaders Colorado Christian (28-0, 38-2) on April 30-May 1. Last season, CSUP finished 7-9 against those four schools, including a sweep by Christian in Lakewood. With five more wins, Pack softball will have its second-most wins in a season, with the last 31-win season being in 2008-2009 when CSUP finished 31-20. The previous best winning streaks were 11 straight in 2001, 2009, and 2016. The 2025 Pack squad won 10-straight as did the 2001 team. The RMAC postseason playffs is May 7-9 at the site of the regular-season winner. READ MORE / HISTORY BOOK
