When Cristian arrives at his job at First Bank Chicago, there’s an unmistakable spring in his step. Since starting his role as HR Receptionist Assistant in April, he has become a valued team member, known for his kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help wherever needed. Working with Dalia, the HR Receptionist, Cristian helps keep the office running smoothly. From unloading grocery deliveries to restocking coffee stations and organizing snacks and supplies, he ensures the office remains well-stocked.
Cristian also keeps conference rooms organized, maintains office supplies, and assists with company-wide lunches, which serve up to 80 people.
"It’s so cool to be working at a bank,” -Cristian shared with a grin.
Beyond his scheduled hours, Cristian often volunteers to stay late or take extra shifts.
He also works at a local gym, assisting with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for kids. Whether at the gym or the bank, Cristian excels in roles centered on hospitality and service, demonstrating how meaningful employment fosters confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
