Help A Job Seeker Find a Job in the Community

Meet Daniel.

He is one of the job seekers in TotalLink’s employment program and is looking for a job.

Daniel lives in Highland Park and has experience working in nursing homes. He loves Chicago sports (Bears and Bulls), TV and movies (Star Wars and Marvel), and all things transportation. He knows nearly every train and bus route in the Chicagoland area by heart. He is great at cleaning and organizing, greeting and hosting, and excels in a variety of office tasks.

Summer in the Community

TotalLink is having a fun-filled summer in the community! We are out and about enjoying what our community has to offer.

It’s so much fun being back in person with our friends. Recently, our Girlfriends Group program participants spent time getting to know one another and made friendship bracelets. Girlfriends Group meets twice a month and is an opportunity for young adults to develop and strengthen friendships, share their thoughts and feelings, and gain confidence in community settings. Thank you to the Village Church of Northbrook for sharing your space for us to host the program.

Participants in our Community Life program went to Village Green Park for a picnic, where they played games and enjoyed a picnic lunch from Little Louie’s. Participants in the program learn how to research, plan, coordinate and attend events with their friends in the community with the support of facilitators and volunteers.

We had a great time at the Glenview Farmers Market Community Booth, where our volunteers proudly greeted customers, shared information about TotalLink, and sold our Total Goodness products.

We had over 25 participants and community members join us for Sarah’s Karaoke Meetup at Dee’s Place in Glenview. The monthly event is open to everyone. Come join us for a fun night out. See complete details below.

Maureen Kogen Memorial Golf Outing A Success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Maureen Kogen Memorial Golf Outing earlier this month. It was a beautiful day at Glen Flora Country Club in Waukegan, and we raised over $60,000 to support TotalLink’s programs.
