Board Game Cafe is one of TotalLink’s new Fall Programs. Board game enthusiasts meet on Fridays at Glenview Grind, a local coffee shop, to connect with friends while enjoying a beverage and game play. Next Chapter Book Club+, in partnership with UPS for Downs, has done it again! Participants finished another great book, The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The group spent the summer reading this book together, then celebrated finishing the novel with an NCBC+ Olympic Games Day. They celebrated and enjoyed getting to know one another with a balloon volleyball game, a rowing competition, and more.

Stay tuned, as they started a new book this fall, Lucky Dogs, Lost Hats, and Dating Don'ts, by Thomas Fish and Jillian Ober. The book contains true-to-life short stories that anyone can relate to, and includes discussion questions at the end of each story. The group will spend time chatting and sharing their thoughts about the stories.
