THE MISSION CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED THIS SUNDAY BY ORDER OF DUTCHESS COUNTY EXECUTIVE
JOIN US BY LIVESTREAM
In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 contagion, Dutchess County Executive Mark Molinaro issued a Local Emergency Order on March 13, 2020 to close public gatherings that exceed twenty (20) people. We have confirmed with Executive Molinaro that this order applies to Houses of Worship. Therefore, in order to support our state and community’s efforts to combat the Coronavirus COVID-19 contagion, The Mission Church has cancelled public worship gatherings this Sunday, March 15. As this order will expire on March 18, we will update you at that time regarding next week’s services.

Additionally, be reminded that we will continue temporary suspension of all Monday through Saturday ministry activities on the church campus as planned. It is our hope and expectation that we will be able to resume Sunday Services and these actions will ensure a safe, sanitized environment for you and your family to return to.

In the meantime, don’t miss church on Sunday, join us by Livestream! At 9:00 am and 11:00 am our pastors, worship ministry and production team will provide a powerful, inspiring Livestream service at www.missionchurch.com . Join us for worship and the Word, connect with hundreds of other viewers by comment, and expect God to speak into your life. He is able! And He will do it!!

Also, join our Wednesday Night Encounter Livestream: beginning Wednesday, March 18, we will stream an Encounter service from the church sanctuary. Although this service will not be open to the public, you will be able to join our pastoral team via Livestream for worship, prayer and a teaching from God’s Word.

And while you’re worshipping with us on Livestream, we encourage you to honor the Lord with tithes and offerings through “Text-to-Give” and our online giving portal at missionchurch.com. More information will be provided during the Livestream broadcast. Let’s continue to worship the Lord in our giving and support our spiritual family.

JESUS SAID, “ON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT!”

In the midst of uncertainty and under threat of virus, we do not lose heart. We refuse to be discouraged, because God is always working. The Apostle Paul said, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [we are] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed… Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” (2 Cor. 4:8-18)

This is just a test. Don’t lose your faith! Don’t pull back from worship! Don’t miss out on the Word! Stay engaged, get connected, join the Livestream. Let’s be the church, always triumphant, always advancing, pressing in, pushing through and touching the presence of God!

Prayerfully,
Pastor Gregg Johnson
