Join us on the beautiful Garden Island of Kauai for a summer intensive to remember. Improve your ballet technique, strength, and flexibility through barre, center, Pilates, and conditioning exercises. WOW! New Art Show Up in the PAC Lobby!
Recent attendees at PAC Events were ecstatic over the incredible art gracing the PAC's Lobby walls. The pieces are the work of Kauai artist Tom Abbott.
Tom Abbott grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, nurturing a vivid imagination and dreaming of a creative future. During his successful retail career, he rediscovered his passion for art as a way to relieve stress. His travels around the world have inspired him to sketch, draw, and paint, capturing the essence of the places he’s visited.
For Christmas of 1998, Tom painted a series of Santa-themed artworks for family and friends. Their enthusiastic response led him to explore creating art centered on thematic collections.

In 2010, he met award-winning artist Molly Johnson at a charity auction. At The Mill Art Center in Wisconsin, Molly became both a mentor and friend, refining Tom’s drawing skills and introducing him to oil painting.
Tom’s career in retail allowed him to experience the richness of global cultures, art, and history. He used travel time to sketch, forging a deep connection to the diversity of visual traditions. His work reflects his fascination with nature, color, contrast, and the interplay of beauty and form.
After retiring in 2016, Tom dedicated himself fully to art, contributing to the preservation of the arts by donating works to support cultural and charitable causes. His dream is to see society prioritize arts education and appreciation once again.

Tom's art may have never found its was to the PAC without the roll up your sleeves initiative of Kauai Community Players volunteer, Natalie Rein. She had been working a cooperation with the PAC to bring KCP productions to the PAC, in March, june and August 2026 (plus they will also present The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Live & Onstage at the PAC this October. Natalie's thought was, perhaps more eyes will see the art at the PAC,...and why do we want more eyes to see it! This is the very best part of Tom's generosity. He is allowing KCP< and by extension, The PAC, to sell the paintings and keep 100% of the proceeds.
So come on down to the PAC. The show will be up all summer!

AT HER FEET An action/adventure/mystery film taking place on the Big Island.
Archeology students and their Hawaiian guide encounter unseen allies and a misguided protector as they risk their lives saving artifacts in the path of an erupting volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The film was written, directed and produced by Kaua`i resident Nadya Wynd who will intro the film and lead Q&A. The film stars another Kaua`ian, Sydney Agudong (currently starring in LILO & STITCH).

Where I Live Kaua`i
This storytelling event will showcase a diverse group of individuals sharing personal memories and life lessons from their experiences living on Kauaʻi.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 5:45 p.m.
In-person tickets include a small bento, and access to the show. If you are unable to attend in-person, a free recording will be sent to everyone who registers.

JASON BLAKE EXPOSED!
This past Friday, Jason Blake, Managing Director of The Kauai Concert Association (KCA), plus actor, singer and community activist, put together a fundraiser to benefit KCA and Pride Kauai. The show fourteen songs including show tunes and old standards. Jason was joined by friends, all professional musicians, Rose Alfiler-Taboniar (piano), Dolly Kanekuni (vocals), Paul Koubanis (guitar), Mike Latif (bass), Ronnie Margolis (percussion), Kaycee Milne (violin), James Norman (vocals), and Barry Toy (trumpet).

Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu
As far as first Hawaiian, Hinaleimoana gets that distinction. She is a native Hawaiian and received her nomination for her animated short "Kaepaemahu" in 2021.
