Matin Bloch was a Partisan in Poland during WW II. When he came to America, he founded Frequency Electronics Company. As an added plus, some members of MRJ have joined the Temple Choir.

Retreat with the Rabbi

An opportunity for members of MRJ to allow their body, mind and soul to replenish its energies away from the often-exhausting routine of daily life. As an added plus, we will be treated to one of Bob Meyerson's famous soups during lunch.

Returning to our in person meetings, we will serve sandwiches and snacks at 6:30. Our business will conclude by 8:00 PM. We will then be able to hear Andrew Rehfeld, President of HUC-JIR talk to us about the closing of the Cincinnati campus via Zoom.

Jewish Geneology

Jeff Levin, using a Power Point Presentation and the Internet, will give us a basic introduction to Jewish genealogical research in how to get started with exploring your family roots. The presentation will describe how to get started and how to build your family tree.

This will be our last official meeting of the 2021-2022 year. The results of our election of Officers and Trustees will approved. A review of activities of this year and the plans for next year will be discussed.

Scott Silberfein, following in a long line of distinguished honeree's is a WRT executive, trustee, and active participant or leader in countless Temple activities. He has been active in Scarsdale, Jewish and other local and national community service functions and is an officer of the Westchester/Fairfield Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

Our tradition is to go out for dinner to end the activities of the year by toasting and celebrating the friendships and comradeships that have developed and been enhanced during the year.
