IT IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN....THE OLDFIELD SHOW
Puyallup Washington again hosts the Oldfield Show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall, Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.....THIS WEEKEND
More new artists and your favorites you've met from past years. And yes, Gabe Gabel and T Kurtz will again be a part of it. Fun, no admission fee and all the free parking that you could want. (Plus all the peanuts you can eat as you see the show) There will be auctions, both live and silent, live music I'm sure, come and meet the artists at their booths.
This will be the first show to offer my resin ornaments although I have been filling orders from my studio, I understand a lot of them are going to be presents this year. I have quite a few but I will also be taking orders at the show.
I had hoped to have more of them ready, but my studio has gotten a bit busy.
I AM WORKING ON MY FIRST ADULT LIFE SIZE HORSE, and boy is he taking up nearly all the room in there. It is like having your horse in your house, which of course it actually is, come to think of it.
Pictures of him, well you can expect to see a few as he comes together. The foam enlargement of my smaller original is the biggest jigsaw puzzle I have ever put together in my life. But what fun I'm having! I don't need yoga classes to get me in shape, crawling under and around him and his armature is all the flexibility exercise I'll need this fall.
And if you were thinking of having the most incredible landscaping ornament you could imagine, well, he is being done in a limited edition of five. Just saying.....
