Drew Wagner's self-taught approach is inspired by the past masters Edward Weston / Paul Strand and contemporary photographer, Michael Kenna. Drew's photographic explorations, walking the streets, back roads, and woods of his environs are unique to his vision and passion. He works the entire creative expression with a clear purpose to create images that tell. Drew will be in our nice air conditioned galley this Saturday to discuss his works .....
Deborah Derrick, fresh from her trip out west will be in The Gallery, Sunday. Deb is drawn to places of beauty in nature where land, sea and sky meet. Her works evoke a calm clear vision of expression realized and found away from the focus of our daily lives. Deb will be sitting the Gallery Sunday and has a vast experience in the arts.
Did you know that according to Creative Stroke .... Alfred Stieglitz .... ( above ) once showed about thirty early Picasso paintings at his 291 Gallery in New York. No-one wanted them, even at $100 each. He had to ship them all back to France. They'd be worth close to $3-billion now. Now, I'm no Alfred however, this is the last weekend to view The Gallery Exhibition of Continuum.

The Photography Place Gallery presents 'Continuum,' New Works From Eight Innovative Photographers: Ed Dougert, Chris Rawlings, Drew Wagner, Justin Kestler, Christopher Kennedy, Charles Callaghan and introducing Deborah Derrick and Darin Johnson.
The Gallery, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania is exclusively the art of color and black and white photography. The represented photographers present their works in a high standard and a wide variety of substrates, including Platinum / Palladium, silver gelatin and aluminum. This will be The Gallery's second of three shows for 2012.
The Photography Place llc is a creative center for photography, located in Bucks Country, Pennsylvania where the working photographer shares their images, ideas, and interests with others passionate about learning photography. We encourage, motivate, and inspire the accomplishment of photographic works as both an art and a communication tool. Workshops reflect the traditions of the past while teaching the new and rapidly changing medium - photography - today. We openly share our experience, to help others at all levels of learning.
