God said and says TODAY:
“FOR I KNOW THE PLAN-(please note the word PLAN!!!!!) THAT I (GOD) THINK TOWARD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After publishing my last sermon entitled FIGHT ON!! 7/31/24, little did I expect that God would IMMEDIATELY “put me to test!!!”
That very afternoon, 7/31/24, an incredibly dark and forboding storm suddenly erupted with frightening veracity. The sky grew dark and menacing as I hurried home to ride out the storm.
As I relaxed in my MAN CAVE/OFFICE, suddenly a loud explosion with a brilliant light occurred-right outside my window I sat beside. I heard a CLICK and then it was over.
Little did I realize then that LIGHTNING can INDEED strike twice in the same area!!!!
Just a few short months ago, lightning struck my home and caused 15 thousand dollars of damage..................................
All of my TV's were instantly fried along with my Direct TV connection and the DVD player.
Now, the the average person, all that matters would be the financial cost of replacing the damaged electronics and restoring the TV connection.
BUT, all my daughter Amanda can do and does do ALL her waking hours is watch television!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And. trust me, she is NOT a happy camper when she has NOTHING to occupy her mind for the endless hours of being awake.
Following that major eruption of my life's “normality” came a disturbing MAJOR development in a loved one's life that I was, AGAIN. powerless to assuage.
How I often wish I was God or a king..............................................
NOW, battered and bloodied by THIS life and its TOO MANY WOES, I sought relief in my daily routine of walking AND Praying.
I drove to my exercise facility and as I walked the circular track a woman behind me was conversing on her cell phone. I overheard her counseling the other party with these words:
“BUT GOD HAS A PLAN!”
SELAH!! STOP HERE FOR A MOMENT AND
SELAH/THINK/MEDITATE!!!!
GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YES-YOU AND I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEHOW, WE HAVE TO BELIEVE AND UNDERSTAND THIS:
God's “THOUGHTS/PLANS” are to give US/YOU AND ME “thoughts of PEACE AND NOT EVIL” and “AN EXPECTED END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
EXPECTED-from (qavah); literal a cord (as an attachment [compare (qaveh)]); figurative expectancy :- expectation ([-ted]), hope, live, thing that I long for.Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
I don't and never will, IN THIS LIFE, fully grasp and/or understand the WHY “bad things happen to “good” people!!??”
WHY/HOW did lightning strike MY home twice?????????????????????
WHY do planes suddenly fall out of the sky or cancers erupt or a myriad of bad happenings-WHY WHY WHY????????????????????????
BUT, WE have to understand and BELIEVE that God DOES INDEED have a PLAN!!
As I type these final words to my message, my lights are blinking in my office as ANOTHER possible storm rolls in??????
Isaiah 55:8-11 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
