We have officially finished three-fourths of the school year! When we return from Spring Break we will be in the final quarter. As I visit the classrooms I see how much the children have grown! Have you noticed the change? It happens so gradually.

We have been partnering together with you nurturing your child as they grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and most importantly spiritually over these past months. Your child's teacher is excited to have the opportunity to once again share some time with you during parent-teacher conferences to discuss your child's successes and areas that still need a little growth. Sign-ups are now available on SchoolCues. As always, I am also available to discuss any concerns that you may have.

Have a great Spring Break!

God's blessings,

Linda Dehn

IMPORTANT NOTE - 1st- 8th Grade PARENTS!!!

IOWA BASICS ACHIEVEMENT TESTS...the week of April 17-21. Please make every effort to not schedule any appointments for your child during the mornings of those dates. Thank you for your cooperation.

8:15 a.m.-3 p.m.

Due to growing safety concerns, the back parking lot will be closed during the school day. It is used as a playground/educational area throughout the entire day.

The lot will be blocked at the beginning of the driveway heading back to the lot at 8:15 a.m. and will not reopen until 3 p.m. each day. Early arrivals for pick up are encouraged to either form a line along the far edge of the lot leading to the back lot or park in a spot in the front lot.

Those who pick up children at 11:30 a.m. will now pick up at Door A- which is the main entrance. We will bring your child to the door at 11:30 a.m.

Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns contact Mrs. Dehn [email protected].

Thank you to all who came last week to celebrate with us at the worship service. If you were unable to attend, we are planning a school celebration recognizing Pastor Sell on Wednesday, March 29 during our All School Chapel at 8:40 a.m. with a brief reception after. We would love for you to attend.

Spring is in the air! With that brings out the shorts and skirts! Your children have grown over the winter. Please make sure that the skirts and shorts are at least mid-thigh length. If you need some new uniforms, check with Gail in the office and we may have some in our bins that could work. Thank you for your cooperation.

MARCH CHICK-FIL-A DAY is Tuesday, March 28. Forms are due March 20. Forms went home this week.

PRINCIPAL LORELEI ZELLER had a busy day on Wednesday!

She greeted students as they arrived to school, read books to preschool classes, paid bills, and made a decree for an extra recess for K-8 students.

This was all part of the "Principal for a Day" auction item purchased by her parents at the Spaghetti Dinner.

THANK YOU to the PTL for providing amazing snacks for Grandparents/Special Persons Day. The event was a great success and a great time was had by all. Also a big thank you to the faculty and staff for all of the hard work creating the stations and activities.

Monday, March 27.

If your child does not attend on Mondays, they are still welcome to come in that day to be tested. A few families declined this service on their registration form. If you have changed your mind and would like to have this service, just let the office know.
