REMINDER...All ESC balances must be paid in full by the end of school year. The last posting will be by May 24.
STOCK THE CART...You are invited to participate in "Stock the Cart" on May 13, the focus is: YOUR CHOICE to help support the "Feed My People" Food Pantry. The extra bonus for elementary-aged students bringing in a donation: they may enjoy "FREE DRESS DAY" that day.

End of the year school gifts are a nice thank you for any staff member.

Graduations are here (Kindergarten and 8th Grade), plus anyone you may know who is graduating from high school or college.

YEARBOOKS...will go home on Monday, May 23. Students will have the opportunity to sign other student's copies. We have a few extra copies for anyone who still needs one. The cost is $12.

A special thank you to Jamie Morgan for coordinating the TJ Pizza sale. We made almost $5,000 in profits. This fundraiser along with continuing donations has brought our total for the playground fundraising effort close to $45,000!
Thank you to everyone who made all teachers and aides feel special this week with kind words, cards, and gifts. It is truly a privilege to be able to teach your children daily. Thank you for entrusting your child into our care.

FINAL CHAPEL- AWARDS CEREMONY - Friday, May 20 - 10:30 a.m.

Parents are invited to attend the final chapel of the school year for students in 1st-8th grade. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude with an award recognition ceremony. Students will return to their classrooms prior to dismissal.
LOST AND FOUND - Are you wondering what happened to that lunchbox? Do you know where your child's jacket is? It could be in our lost and found. We will have all items out on display in the lobby on Field Day! Please take a look for missing items. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.

Don't forget about FLAMINGO FLOCKING! Members of our church youth group are raising funds for their trip to the National Youth Gathering. Order forms were previously sent home. Let the office know if you need another form. Thanks for supporting this FUNraiser.
OSL 2022 SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP
May 31-August 5
Age 2 year olds-5th grade
Space is limited.
Make sure to turn in the registration fee with the registration form. Our 1st-5th grade group is so popular we added a second class! Confirmation letters were sent home with every registration. Some dates have waiting list.
A parent information letter will be coming home next week.
Phil, from Phil’s Friends, visited our school this week. He talked about his own experience with cancer and how much prayers, cards, and everyday items would lift his spirits. Students will be collecting items and donations for our fourth quarter chapel. They will also be making cards and fleece blankets. We have collected a few items so far and $280.00. As always, thanks for your continued support.


LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL SOUTH SUMMER CAMPS...Does your child enjoy shooting hoops? Love being on stage? Want to learn a new sport like football or field hockey?

Lutheran South Summer Camp offers a variety of athletic and enrichment activities with morning and afternoon sessions available for students in K - 8th grade. From playing tennis to the trombone, we have coaches and instructors who offer positive reinforcement. Your campers will have fun while developing new skills. Enjoy summer at South!

INK CARTRIDGES...we recycle them for a small profit back to school. We will accept any small cartridges. The funds helps pay for some of our new technology.
MILK CARDS...Milk cards are $8.00 each. Each card is good for 20 milks. We have chocolate fat free and 2% white.
AMAZON SMILE: If you ordered from Amazon please considered 1) buying your Amazon cards from us. We receive a percentage on each card we purchase. 2) Please make any purchases on Amazon Smile and click "Our Savior Lutheran Church" as the charity you would like a percentage of your sales to go towards. The school receives the Amazon Smile funds directly to our bank account. Using both these options allows us to earn a little extra money for the school. Thanks for your support.
EXTENDED SCHOOL CARE...Your balance due is available on Fast Direct under the Finance icon. Charges for the week will be posted by Tuesday of the following week. You can pay online through Fast Direct or send in a check in your child's folder. You can pay weekly amounts on your balance or simply prepay in amounts of $50/$100, depending on how much you use it. When your balance is low, simply replenish the account.
