NETC awarded students a combined 181 degrees and certificates during the May 9 NETC Commencement ceremony at the Cheraw High Campus.
The ceremony began with a welcome by NETC President Dr. Kyle Wanger with invocation by Fisher Hill Community Baptist Church Rev. Dr. Johnnie McLendon, Area Commissioner Vice Chairman Herbert Gould recognized guests and introduced speaker NETC Alumni Development Coordinator and Former Cheraw Mayor Andy Ingram.
Students received their diplomas from Dr. Wagner, Vice Chairman Gould, and NETC Vice President of Academic Affairs Derk Riechers.

Sinkhole closes a Hwy 9 exit at Cheraw Campus | |
|
Due to a sinkhole that developed April 18 at the NETC Cheraw Campus exit point facing Hwy 9, it has been closed to thru traffic.
There is one entry and exit point facing Hwy 9.

Traffic may also utilize the entry and exit facing Tec Road.
College Administration and the Maintenance Department are working diligently to address this issue.
