NETC Enhances CDL Testing with Specialized Camera Equipment

Northeastern Technical College’s (NETC) Third-Party CDL Testing Program has enhanced its training capabilities by equipping instructors with specialized cameras to record student testing sessions. This new technology helps instructors document testing more effectively and supports efforts to improve student pass rates.

NETC’s CDL instructors are now certified as modernized Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) testing instructors and third-party testers in South Carolina.

As certified third-party testers, NETC instructors can administer CDL tests to the college’s own students, as well as to experienced truck drivers seeking CDL recertification.

By utilizing NETC’s third-party testing services, individuals and businesses benefit from flexible scheduling—often more convenient than appointments through the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles—helping get qualified drivers on the road faster. All testing is conducted at NETC’s Cheraw campus, located at 1201 Chesterfield Highway.

For testing availability, scheduling, and pricing, please contact NETC at 800-921-7399.

Preparing for National Nurses Week

Next week we are celebrating National Nurses Week (May 6-12)! This is a special time to say thank you to the amazing nurses who work so hard to care for others. Nurses are a big part of keeping people healthy, and next week we will honor all they do.

To help celebrate, Administrative Specialist Beth Pearce created a special display to recognize our nurses just outside of the Nursing Department. Beth is known for making creative displays throughout the year that help brighten our space and bring attention to important events. Her display for Nurses Week is a kind and thoughtful way to show how much we appreciate our nursing staff.

We encourage everyone to stop by and take a look. Thank you to all our nurses—and a big thank-you to Beth for helping to ensure that next week is extra special!
