NETC Employees Go Red for Heart Health
|
NETC employees united on February 7 to bring awareness about heart disease in women by participating in National Wear Red Day.
Wearing different shades of red, staff and faculty showed their commitment to supporting the American Heart Association’s mission to combat this critical health issue. The wearing of red on National Wear Red Day was designed to spark conversations and served as a visual reminder of the importance of heart health.
| | |
February is American Heart Month — a time when we come together to raise awareness about heart disease, the leading cause of death for women and a significant health concern for all. Heart disease doesn’t always come with a warning sign, which is why education and preventative measures are so critical. Go Red Month stands for advocacy, awareness, and the power we all have to make healthier choices for ourselves and our loved ones.
