Employees Attend Team Skills Training

NETC employees participated in the South Carolina Department of Administration’s Professional Skills Training on January 31, focusing on building stronger teamwork through the Team Skills program. The training helped employees learn how to be more effective team players by exploring different roles within a team and discovering ways to support group success. Participants learned techniques for running productive meetings, understanding how teams work together, and tackling challenges through smart problem-solving and decision-making.

Through hands-on activities and discussions, employees sharpened their communication skills and learned how to better observe group dynamics. The training gave employees tools to build stronger connections, contribute more effectively to team projects, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

NETC is going RED! Friday, February 7

February is Go Red Month — a time when we come together to raise awareness about heart disease, the leading cause of death for women and a significant health concern for all. Heart disease doesn’t always come with a warning sign, which is why education and preventative measures are so critical. Go Red Month stands for advocacy, awareness, and the power we all have to make healthier choices for ourselves and our loved ones.

On Friday, February 7, we encourage everyone to wear red as a bold statement of solidarity and heart health awareness.

Whether it’s a red tie, sweater, or a simple splash of color, your participation makes a powerful statement.

To capture the moment, we’ll be taking a group photo at 1:00 PM in the lobby of the 100 building for anyone who wants to join. Let’s show that when we come together, we can make a difference. Mark your calendar, rock your best red, and let’s make this Go Red Day one to remember!
