ARRIVALS

AIRPORT

When you first get off the plane and get through immigration, a duty-free shop will be available. Once past that, you will arrive at your luggage. Once you have luggage, you will go through customs, which is usually not a big deal - travelers are selected randomly, so not everyone will be stopped.


Once through customs, there will be MANY transportation companies trying to get you to hire them. Just ignore them and keep walking all the way to the end toward the roadway and look for our Global representatives holding The Sands.rocks signs with our logo. They will direct you to your shuttles.


Once the shuttle leaves, prepare yourselves for "THE BEST WEEK OF YOUR LIFE!" because the next stop is THE SANDS! This trip is approximately 30 minutes. Once there, staff will welcome you and direct you where to check-in. 

TRANSFERS

IF YOU DID NOT BOOK YOUR TRANSFERS WITH THE SANDS, YOU WILL NOT BE ON OUR PASSENGER LIST AND WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BOARD OUR SHUTTLES. You will need to arrange your own transportation and understand that The Sands is unable to assist with that reservation. This applies to pre & post-days, as well.

OUTSIDE RESERVATIONS


IF YOU HAVE BOOKED EXTRA NIGHTS OR TRANSFERS OUTSIDE OF THE SANDS, WE ARE UNABLE TO ASSIST WITH THOSE RESERVATIONS. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT YOUR RESERVATION HOST DIRECTLY FOR ASSISTANCE.

If your flight information has changed, please get in touch with the Transportation company directly to update.

WRISTBANDS

REPLACEMENT FEE

The Sands Wristbands MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. This is to ensure the security and exclusivity of our event.


Due to the nature of the event, if the wristband is lost, there is a $500 REPLACEMENT FEE.


BROKEN WRISTBANDS can be exchanged in The Sands Store. *Wristband must be present.

CREDENTIALS

YOUR SANDS WRISTBAND MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ON THE SAME WRIST AS YOUR RESORT RFID BRACELET, WITH NO OTHER WRISTBANDS ON THIS "CREDENTIALS ARM".

THE SANDS APP

DOWNLOAD THE APP

The app is our main communication channel while at The Sands.


We are still firming up some items on the backend, so you will not see detailed information until you arrive at The Sands. DOWNLOADING THE APP NOW will help avoid the international glitches that can occur if you wait until you are on-site.


If you are having trouble downloading the app, ask a tech-savvy friend to assist you.


If you won't be downloading our app, it's important that you find a friend or someone who can notify you of any important updates and notifications that we may send out to our guests. We may not be able to respond quickly to email or chat requests during the event, so having someone who can keep you informed will be helpful.


Our schedule will also be posted on The Sands Store door. You are always welcome to stop in for information.


If you downloaded the app last year, it is important that you update it to see the new content. Most users are on auto-update, so it may not be an issue. However, to ensure that you have the latest version, check that the app icon on your phone looks like the image shown here.

Outside of RESERVED seating options, there are plenty of seats available on a first-come-first-served basis.


To keep the process orderly, we ask that you follow these guidelines:


  • SAVING SEATS WILL BEGIN at 7 AM each day of the event.


  • NO OVERNIGHT HOLDS. All chairs will be checked and cleared at 7 AM - all collected items will be brought to Lost & Found in The Sands Store.


  • RESORT TOWELS do not count as placeholders - unless secured by a Sands towel band. Items left on chairs for holds must be personal in nature (shoes, clothing, beach bag, Sands towel, etc.)


  • SANDS TOWEL BANDS are a convenient option for holds but are not mandatory. They are available in the Sands store while supplies last.


  • Leaving VALUABLES unattended is at your own discretion.



NOTE: Umbrellas are limited for open seating.

  • Images must capture the ENTIRE door and the ENTIRE balcony.

ALCOHOL NOTICE

RESORT DRINKS

NOT ALL BARS CARRY THE SAME ALCOHOL If you find a drink you like at one bar, it may not be available at another.


SELTZERS Unfortunately, Planet Hollywood does not carry any seltzers. You can create your own from flavored vodka & seltzer.


OFF-LIST If you want to have a stash or something specific, we advise purchasing from Duty-Free or contacting someone with a private transfer who can stop at a store like Walmart to get the types of drinks that you would like. Our shuttles will not be able to stop. 


MINI-BAR Planet Hollywood has a daily limit on beer/drinks allowed in your mini-bar. However, you can purchase them for extra.

During the event, you will have many opportunities to see and interact with our talent. However, it is important to be respectful of their personal space and not to disturb them when they are not seeking interaction. For example, please avoid approaching them while they are eating, seated, or already engaged. Our goal is to create an enjoyable experience for our talent so that they feel comfortable and not forced to hide in their rooms. By respecting their boundaries, we hope to encourage them to return in the future.

Hola Sanders,


We are just a few days out from The Sands 2023! The excitement has been building through the community as well as here in the office. I think we have covered everything in past newsletters to make your trip more enjoyable (you may want to go back and review them.) Also, feel free, if you see me available, to introduce or re-introduce yourself to me. I’d love to meet you and know a little bit about you. 


For those of you who don’t know, we are an event/production company - we are not the resort. If you are having any problems with the resort, such as towels, room condition/problems, room services, etc., please contact the resort by dialing 0 from your room phone. Give them a chance to rectify the issue, and if they don’t fix your problem after a few calls and 24 hours pass, please let us know in the Sands Store. We meet with the resort every morning and can help you out.


One last thing I would like to say before I see you in a few days - This is your vacation. We work hard to provide the best week of your life, but it is ultimately up to you to get your mind into vacation mode and, as Frankie says, “RELAX”.
