Matthew 13:8 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
When the believer receives the seed, which is the word, he or she is the good ground. When the individual receives and understands the word, it will surely produce the fruit the Father wants in the life of the individual.
You cannot be a Christian for years and remain the same, the word of God does something within you. It changes you from the inside out. There is always progression and advancement in the life of the believer when he or she allows the word of God to do its work in their life. Then, others can see the fruit of that transformation and the manifestation of changes in character, action, and speech.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word of God is so powerful that it has the power to transform the life of those who receive it. Remember, the word of God is life and powerful to transform you.
The word of God confronts, convicts and guides us every time we read it. We can either receive it or reject it. Remember, the word is the primary way the Lord speaks to us. Let us not neglect His guidance for our lives.
Let the word of God do what it is supposed to do in your heart. When you do this, it will change and transform you to live as God has ordained for you.
Only when you embrace and apply the word of God in your heart, it can accomplish what it was designed and intended to do. It is then that the word of God becomes to be part of your life; embrace it!
You may ask, “why aren’t all Christian’s walk the same?". Remember what the parable said about he who received seed on good ground, this depends on how the word is received, understood, and applied; this is who bares fruit, and produces some hundredfold, some sixty and some thirty. Therefore, we see the difference in the life from one believer to another. The word has power and it will never lose its power. The result depends on the ground (the person). The will of God for our lives is that we yield one hundred percent fruit. Become a living word!
