SNOWY GROUPER, MAHI MAHI & LOTS OF SCALLOPS!
Tons of families have spent their week scalloping in Steinhatchee! Scallops are still great-sized and are still plentiful! Captain Chase Norwood and his crew went on an overnight trip with Michael Moody and his crew of fishermen. They returned some of the most enormous snowy grouper we have seen at the marina!

Lori Medlin went fishing aboard the Chase N Fish vessel for the overnight trip when she hooked up on a MASSIVE snowy grouper. Not to be confused with a warsaw grouper, most mature snowy grouper lose their spots as they age.

Chase Norwood and first-mate, Stewart Bray, are holding up a 45lb gag grouper one of their clients caught on the boat! | Chris Beasley speared a flounder while scalloping. | James does an awesome job of helping the Chase N Fish crew unload the fish each time when they get to the docks. He did however say that the snowy grouper were too heavy and that they needed to bring back some smaller fish! LOL | |
