FOCUS ON FOSTER CARE VOLUNTEERING AT CHAIR-ITY

Seeking volunteers to assist NCJW/CLE’s Focus on Foster Care (FOF) Committee in working with Chair-ity, a nonprofit that provides and delivers furniture and household goods to young adults aging out of foster care. We’ll assist Chair-ity in organizing its new warehouse space.

Have fun, join in conversation and songs and help with a simple craft at North Coast Community Homes. This organization provides housing and support to people with mental illness and developmental disabilities.

TOGETHER WE RISE

A three-day experience for NCJW advocates across the country to come together to build our skills, celebrate our achievements, and amplify our voices. The program culminates with a day on Capitol Hill meeting with law makers.

SELF-REFLECTION SERIES: 5 MINDSET SHIFTS TO STOP COMPARISON AND JUDGMENT

In this one-hour workshop, Rebecca Fellenbaum, a certified somatic life coach, will guide you through five mindset shifts to help you let go of comparison and judgment and gain self-compassion, confidence, and a deeper sense of peace. Space is limited.

HELP SHARE WHAT YOU WEAR (SWYW) ALL YEAR – AT YOUR HOME OR IN THE OFFICE 

SWYW is a project creating personally-shopped clothing and toiletry bags for distribution to children in need.


This month's critical need: Children's summer clothing including shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, dresses, crocs, flip flops, and sandals in sizes newborn to kids 18/20.
