FALL CLE & BOOTCAMP – REGISTRATION TODAY! 

The popular WAELA Fall CLE & Bootcamp is being held in person at the Seattle Airport Marriot on OCTOBER 20 (Bootcamp Thursday afternoon) and 21, 2022 (all day Friday). The programs will provide valuable and up-to-date information critical to your elder and special needs practice, the opportunity to network with and gather resources from other attorneys, and the opportunity to take away practical information and materials that you can use in your practice today. 

 

We will be joined by Professor Roberta (Bobbi) Flowers (in person), NAELA Fellow and 22-23 NAELA president, and Michael Knaapen (via video conference), NAELA Director of Public Policy and Alliance Development.

The WAELA Annual General Meeting will be held from 12:00 to 1:15 at the Fall CLE on October 21, 2002. The nominating committee is presenting the following slate of Officers and Directors. We thank everyone who stepped forward to join WAELA leadership.

WAELA GUARDIANSHIP FORUM CONTINUES TO BENEFIT ATTENDEES.

 

The WAELA Guardianship Forum will continue to meet on the first Thursday of each month via Zoom webinar. Attendees have found this to be a valuable opportunity to bring their issues, challenges, and successes forward as 11.130 RCW, the Uniform Guardianship, conservatorship, and other Protective Arrangements Act enters its tenth month.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE WASHINGTON FIRST RESPONDERS WILL CLINIC 

Requested by WAELA member, Mihaella "Ella" Bayla 

  

Washington First Responders Will Clinic volunteer attorneys provide basic estate planning documents, including Wills, Power of Attorney documents and healthcare directives, for Washington state first responders and their spouses/state registered domestic partners. This service is provided at no cost.
