LIZ WALLACE - PRINCIPAL OF AGILE ELDER LAW AND WAELA BOARD DIRECTOR:

We are very sad to share the news of the passing of our colleague, Liz Wallace. Liz was the principal of Agile Elder Law, with offices in Spokane and Kennewick, a valued member of the Elder Law bar and WAELA, and a WAELA board member. Liz was particularly well versed in Medicaid law and long term care planning, and was generous in sharing her time and expertise. Our hearts go out to her wife, Wrane, her family, and the many clients whose lives she made better. She will be missed.

WAELA FALL GENERAL MEETING – Time to Vote for Your 2022 Board of Directors!

The WAELA Fall General Meeting will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM on December 14, 2021, prior to the December Board of Directors Meeting. All members will receive the link to join via Zoom and are invited to join us for the Board of Directors meeting that follows from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Join us to vote for your 2022 Board of Directors, learn who you chose as 2021 WAELA Member of the Year, and catch up on other WAELA doings.

2021 FALL BOOTCAMP, CLE & ADVANCED CLE – IT’S A WRAP!

We hope that you had the opportunity to join the WAELA Fall Bootcamp, CLE and Advanced CLE, held on October 14 and 15, 2021. Evaluations of the sessions have been positive, both with regards to the selection of topics and value of the information shared by the speakers. If you have not yet filled out the evaluation please do so so that we can report your CLE credits. You will find the program hub here.

2022 UNPROGRAM - SAVE THE DATE!

The 2022 Unprogram will be held April 22-24, 2021 at Campbell’s Resort in Chelan, Washington. We hope you will join us! We will, of course, closely follow any issues with the COVID-19 virus and pivot to a virtual platform if necessary.
