Nova Southeastern University's Paws for Cause is hosting a Dog Talent Show and they need our help!
Ten C.A.T. teams are needed to participate in the talent show. Each team will select an animal rescue/shelter to represent. The winning team will receive bragging rights AND Paws for a Cause will make a donation to the rescue that the dog is representing.
If your therapy dog is from a rescue, you can represent the organization you got him/her from. If your dog is not from a rescue, you can select an organization of your choice to represent.
The "talent show" will take place at NSU's Flight Deck backyard and therapy dogs will participate in the following categories:
- Best Halloween costume
- Best belly rub
- Best snore (handler will pre-record short video of dog snoring)
- Best fetch (handler will pre-record short video of dog playing fetch)
- Fan favorite
*Please note that it is OKAY if your dog does not snore or play fetch well. You can just record a 25 second video of your pup sleeping or attempting to play fetch and that will do, as the show is meant to be fun and light-hearted. (The pre-recorded videos must be provided to us no later than October 12th.)
