Voting for the 24th Maple Blues Awards closes
December 1 at 11:59pm EST!
|
|
There’s no stopping the blues – not even a second year of a global pandemic. In a year like no other, 2021 has proven that Canadian blues artists are tenacious, forward-thinking and incredibly creative in the face of adversity. Despite ongoing challenges and changes, Toronto Blues Society continues to support and promote Canadian Blues artists by featuring the nominees for the upcoming 25th annual Maple Blues Awards. The full list of nominees can be viewed at mapleblues.ca
The winners will be announced on January 31, 2022 at the LIVE Maple Blues Award Show to be held at Koerner Hall in Toronto. (Click HERE for tickets)

NOTICE TO ALL MBA NOMINEES:
Social Media Paid Advertising Ban:
|
|
Congratulations to all Maple Blues Award Nominees! We understand that not all nominees are regular users of social media and others may not have the budget to execute a successful advertising campaign to solicit votes .
In the pursuit of fairness for all of the nominees and transparency,
PAID social media advertising by MBA nominees promoting their candidacy is BANNED during the public voting period.
Anyone who breaches this rule will be disqualified.
Regular “thank-you” posts by the nominees as well as reminders to fans about the voting deadline on social media are all still good and will also help us promote the Maple Blues Awards! Our aim is to prevent manipulation of public voting through sponsored posts (specifically asking for votes) which may cause an inequity as we realize not all artists may have promotional budgets.
