What's the best season to visit?
Our gardens were designed to tell many cultural narratives and to expand biodiversity - they do not represent any one period of time. As a result, they are dynamic and worth visiting in every season both to contemplate the history of our site and to enjoy the beauty of a rich palette of plantings. (Click on the photo for a video about Thomas Woltz and his team's design process). Photo: Kim Crichlow.
White Japanese anemones are about to bloom along with City Lights Iris, drifts of Caryopteris "Bluebeard" and a second show from New Dawn roses on the arbor. Come visit us and get sustainable ideas for your gardens or just linger and look for hummingbirds and monarch butterflies!
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
CLOSED SUNDAY, SEPT. 4, LABOR DAY WEEKEND
No dogs allowed in the gardens please.
