Oh, and if you're a musician and/or if you can carry a tune, our worship team would also love to talk with you! You can volunteer however often you'd like (i.e., once or twice a month, weekly, etc.). To note your interest, click here.

NEW! "The Five" Small Group - 5 Weeks, 5 Homes, 5 Topics

Ray & Rachel Souza are coordinating "The Five" Small Group, a fun, relational way to connect in 5 different host homes around 5 different conversations about life and faith (i.e., worship, spiritual growth, prayer, ministry, and outreach). For this to launch, we need 5 host homes. If you're willing to host, you can pick the date and time that works best for you. For questions or interest in hosting and/or participating, contact Ray Souza at 770-616-4824‬ or ray@goodnewschurchga.com.

Small Group Interest Form

As we prepare our church's fall calendar, we're trying to get an idea of who and how many people would be interested in being a part of a small group for the purpose of spiritual growth, connection, and prayer. If that's you, let us know.

Suwanee Community-Build Playground - October 9-15

The City of Suwanee is in need of 1,000 volunteers (during the week of October 9-15) to help build a brand new community playground (to replace the old worn out Play Town Suwanee playground), Volunteer opportunities includes builders, first aid assistants, food service, donations, and purchasing a personalized fence picket to be displayed at PlayTown. This is a great opportunity for the Good News Church GA family to serve together, build relationships in the Suwanee community, and be a blessing. INSPIRATION

Verse of the Week

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it… Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! - Isaiah 30:15, 18

Quote of the Week

“Joy is love singing. Peace is love resting.” - Donald Grey Barnhouse

NEW! Proverb of the Week

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Proverbs 2:6

VISION & VALUES

The vision of Good News Church GA is "to experience and express LOVE from God to others." The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.

MISSION

The mission of Good News Church GA is "to connect with people and build relationships through community workshops, neighborhood-focused ministry, serving local needs, mentoring, and worship."
