Greetings!

Don't let yesterday's slight snowfall fool you—Spring break is just around the corner! Register your kids today for a Spring Break Camp that provides a fun-filled week of artistic exploration. Camps range from multimedia fine arts for little ones, to a teen camp that introduces the world of silversmithing!

This week brings a plethora of creative activities, with artist talks exploring environmental themes, a fantastical fairy tale production, mindful movement through dance, and more!

And we have great news to share! Our generous donors have provided enough support to extend our pilot Dance for PD® class (Dance for Parkinson's Disease) every Wednesday afternoon through the end of March. These classes are free for participants, care partners, and family members thanks to the generous support of pilot program donors. Sign up is encouraged, but walk-ins are also accepted.

Saturday morning brings a returning favorite DanceFit class: Shake Your Soul! Experience the JOY of dance with this weekend workout, no dance experience needed to enjoy this body mind connection. We welcome all movers and music lovers. Drop-in at the door, pre-register in advance to grab the early bird discount, or try the 10-class package for a special deal on any DanceFit class in 2026!

Enjoy a puppet spin on a classic tale with the Puppet Co.'s production of Cinderella, opening Saturday! Featuring 15 handmade rod puppets, this adaptation of Cinderella highlights the power of hope in a rags-to-riches story with lots of magical transformations.

As we get ready for spring, check out programming with several local artists whose work explores connections with nature. Saturday morning, tune in to an online ACO Artist Discussion with Jackie Hoysted, an interdisciplinary artist exploring interconnectedness through immersive, participatory installations that bridge art, science, and ecological inquiry. Saturday afternoon, attend a Juror & Artist Talk in Arcade Building Rooms 302 & 303, in conjunction with Critical Ground: Art and Environmental Justice, an exhibition featuring artists from the Washington Sculptors Group.

Saturday evening, join Adventure Theatre MTC for Passing the Torch Cabaret, a fundraising event in support of the ATMTC Academy. Enjoy an evening of music and memories, as Academy Alumni starring on DMV stages “pass the torch” to the next generation of talented ATMTC students!

Read on for more details about these events plus other happenings this week, including upcoming classesexhibitions, and social dances. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
