Greetings!

Happy Halloween! We had a wonderful time getting spooky with everyone who joined us this past weekend at Fall Frolic. This week, we've got some frightfully fun events at the Park to fill you in on!

Still making plans for Halloween night? Grab your costume and check out a contra dance! Friday Night Dancers present a special Halloween Contra Dance with calling by Gaye Fifer and live music by Wild Wombats of the Chesapeake.

In addition to the wonderful live bands at weekly social dances, music lovers can enjoy two unique concerts this week. Glen Echo Park's very own Washington Revels Heritage Voices will perform OFFSITE at BlackRock Center for the Arts Thursday night. Saturday afternoon, local multi-instrumentalist Rowan Corbett celebrates his 50th birthday with a concert in the Ballroom Back Room featuring music by some of his bands: IO, The Acacia Sears Band, Tinsmith, and ilyAIMY.

On Saturday morning, start your weekend with a DanceFit: Shake Your Soul class, meeting in the Hall of Mirrors Dance Studio this month. No dance experience needed, just come ready to move & groove. Drop in to any or all of these Saturday morning exercise classes for some mindful movement.

It's your last chance to catch a fall Children's Theater production at the Park! Adventure Theatre MTC's Not Your Mother's Goose! closes Sunday, while Jennie the Cat: A Halloween Adventure at the Puppet Co. closes on Monday. Tickets are on sale for upcoming holiday productions of The Nutcracker and Frosty the Snowman.

It's also the final weekend to catch the three exhibitions in the Park's Partnership Galleries. Clsoing Sunday, be sure to check out Comic Relief in the Popcorn Gallery and Wildwood Wonders in the Stone Tower Gallery. Parallel Paths in the Park View Gallery will close Saturday with a Meet the Artists event. Exhibiting artists Rebecca Doran and Stacy Smith Evans will be in the Park View Gallery to meet visitors, discuss their exhibit, and answer questions about their photography. Plus, be sure to visit Scenes from My Studio: Art Show in Memory of our Jacob, a Yellow Barn Studio weekend exhibition showcasing work by Ann Schlesinger, open Saturday and Sunday only.

Read on for more details about these events plus other happenings this week, including upcoming classes, exhibitions, and social dances. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
