Hi Jenni,

Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🍀 It's your lucky week—from concerts to exhibitions, there's an activity for everyone to enjoy at the Park!

Be sure to grab a discounted advance ticket for our monthly Back Room Salsa Night this Friday! Never tried Salsa before or looking to improve your skills? We'll start off with a one-hour beginner lesson (free with the price of admission) with instructors James Robertson and Mei Gibbons. Then, flex your Salsa skills as we dance the night away with DJ Chapibol!

Saturday morning, experience a dynamic movement practice set to world music with a DanceFit: Shake Your Soul class. Absolutely no dance experience is needed to experience this body and mind connection! Also on Saturday morning, Stone Tower Studio's Art Clinic Online (ACO) presents a virtual Artist Discussion with Akemi Maegawa, a ceramics and mixed media artist whose work often reflects a unique perception of western civilization due to her background strongly rooted in Japanese culture and history.

We hope you'll be our guest for Glen Echo Tales, a walking tour this Saturday with exhibiting artist Alice Momm. In conjunction with her solo show, Gleaner's Song for Glen Echo, currently on view in the Popcorn Gallery, this FREE walking tour will include stories from NPS Park Ranger Kevin Patti, co-founder of the Puppet Co. MayField Piper, Glen Echo Park Aquarium Director Andrew Wilson, and others. Our tour will end with a gallery visit and a short story from the artist. Be sure to also pay a visit to Anna Child's HICCUPS in the Park View Gallery and Woven Ground by Diego Borgsdorf Fuenzalida in the Stone Tower Gallery, closing this Sunday!

Check out two unique musical experiences at the Park! This Sunday, join us for Sarau de Samba, a dynamic ensemble of skilled musicians and dancers showcasing the diverse rhythms of samba. More than just a performance, this event invites attendees to become part of the music, with opportunities to dance, sing, and even play instruments alongside the professionals. On Monday, March 24, catch a Mongolian music concert: Institute of Musical Traditions presents Anda Union. Hailing from differing ethnic nomadic cultures, Anda Union merges tribal and music traditions from all over Inner Mongolia, bringing a wide range of musical instruments and vocal styles together.

Registration for Spring Break and Summer Camps is open and ongoing! We were thrilled to have our "galaxy of summer camps" featured in a wonderful piece by WAMU's Justin O'Neill. Listen to it here >>

Read on for more of this week's happenings, including upcoming classes, exhibitions, and social dances. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
