Greetings!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Glen Echo Park over the holiday weekend. With thousands of visitors enjoying amazing performances and art, we had such a fabulous time!

Didn't get a chance to visit the Labor Day Art Show? Our visual arts studios and galleries are open each weekend, so you can still browse & buy original works by local artists. This weekend, be sure to stop by the Yellow Barn Gallery to view a painting exhibition by members of the Loudoun Sketch Club. A reception will be held Sunday evening.

Saturday morning, check out an ACO Artist Discussio with Ira Tattelman, a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Washington, DC. Presented by Stone Tower Studio, the Art Clinic Online creates dialogue, relationships, and community among artists working in the DMV area. Every other Saturday, a featured artist showcases their work and takes questions from participants.

It's a big week for dancing! Dance opportunities include a Viennese Waltz Workshop with DanceSport Endurance, a Contra Dance with Dancing Planet, and a Ballroom Dance with Ballroom Time. It's also a big weekend for swing dancing, with Gottaswing's "Back in Time Weekend" and the return of West Coast Swing with Late Night Early! Dance for PD® (Dance for Parkinson's Disease) continues, with free classes meeting each Wednesday in the Arcade Building.

Read on for more details about these events plus other happenings this week, including upcoming classesexhibitions, and social dances. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!

STEP RIGHT UP....

Help us reach our goal! We're looking for 1,000 fans of Glen Echo Park to donate $10 more in support of FREE programs at the Park.
