Greetings!

We have a wonderful week ahead of us, full of dance and movement, visual arts, music, and more! There are so many possibilities when you visit the Park this fall.

Swing your partner round the Bumper Car Pavilion with Bumper Car Squares! This Thursday, pick from two beginner lessons: Intro to Square Dancing with caller Will Mentor, or Intro to Flatfoot Dancing taught by a member of Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble. Plus enjoy live music by Stomp Rocket!

This weekend, there are ample opportunities to explore visual arts at the Park.

Don't miss your chance to catch New Work by Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery Founder and Director Walt Bartman, open this week only! Bartman will host an Artist Reception Saturday evening and an Artist Talk Sunday afternoon.

DanceFit: Shake Your Soul starts your weekend off with a burst of energy! No dance experience needed, just come ready to move & groove. Drop in to any or all of these Saturday morning exercise classes, meeting in the Hall of Mirrors Dance Studio.

The Washington Revels and the Puppet Co. team up on Saturday for a Make Your Own Dragon Workshop! Let your child's imagination soar at this fun-filled kids as they make their own puppet, then join the puppet parade around the Park with musical percussion instruments to play along the way.

Saturday afternoon, the Washington Conservatory of Music presents an OFFSITE concert at Cleveland Park Congregational United Church of Christ. The acclaimed Pressenda Chamber Players will perform masterwork chamber music by beloved classical composers.
