Hi Jenni,
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Partnership! As we enter into the holiday season, there are so many opportunities to connect with friends & family at the Park.
Thank you to all who joined us for the Opening Reception of the Holiday Art Show & Sale! We had a wonderful evening celebrating and supporting local artists. You can still catch the show until January 5, open in the Partnership Galleries.
This Friday, the Puppet Co. opens its 35th annual production of The Nutcracker! This time honored seasonal celebration includes Tchaikovsky's familiar story of Clara and her prince, with some Puppet Co. nursery rhyme spin. Originated by the founding team of Allan Stevens, Christopher Piper, and MayField Piper and featuring the music of the Arlington Symphony Orchestra, this holiday classic is sure to get you and your family into the spirit of the season!
Also on Friday, the Yellow Barn Gallery will host a preview of an exhibition by artist Jenny Wilson of paintings and collages reflecting land, sky and sea. Join us at 7:00pm for this special preview with a jazz concert! You can also check out the show on Saturday & Sunday at the Yellow Barn Gallery and enjoy refreshments and live music all weekend!
This Saturday is Small Business Saturday and we're here to remind you β artists are small businesses too! Join us at the Park for Shop Arts Saturday and browse one-of-a kind artworks by local artists. Explore a variety of works across the Park's galleries including our Resident Artists' galleries and the Holiday Art Show & Sale in the Partnership Galleries to get a head start on your holiday list!
Read on for more of this week's happenings, including upcoming classes. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
