Hi Jenni,

As we move into December, we're so excited to fill you in on our upcoming winter programming! This week is jam-packed with events at the Park!

Adventure Theater MTC's production of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, a holiday comedy inspired by the poem by Clement Clarke Moore, opens on Friday. Before you can say "Merry Christmas!", you'll be off on the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won’t take "no" for an answer. Don’t miss this joyful tribute to the holiday season from three-time Tony nominee and Olivier Award winning playwright Ken Ludwig! The show runs from December 6, 2024 – January 5, 2025.

On Saturday morning, find beautiful, functional, and decorative pots, sculpture, holiday decorations, and ceramic jewelry for sale at Glen Echo Pottery's Winter Market Pottery Sale! And after checking out a children's theater show and browsing the pottery sale, you can grab a bite to eat from the Trippy Tacos food truck under the neon sign.

Also on Saturday morning, Stone Tower Studio's Art Clinic Online presents a virtual Artist Discussion with Joyce Zipperer, a sculptor whose work confronts viewers about conflicts among the competing values of beauty, comfort, and health.

Gather with friends & family at the Park on Saturday afternoon and into the evening for Winter's Eve, our biggest holiday event of the season! Get hands-on with our holiday themed children's crafts and enjoy live holiday music. If you'd like to create your own blown glass ornament or sit for holiday portraits, be sure to register in advance β€” walk-in availability will be limited. In between crafts and performances, be sure to stop by the Partnership galleries to browse artworks at the Holiday Art Show & Sale. If you've had a chance to make a Year End donation or would like to donate, please join us for Toast to You!, a Member & Donor thank you event in the Park View Gallery. Pick up a thank you gift, enjoy a festive drink and dessert, and mingle with others who love the Park as much as you do! We'll close out Winter's Eve with a holiday sing-along led by GRAMMY Award-winning children's musical duo Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer!

The fun doesn't stop with Winter's Eve! After the holiday sing-along, head over to the Bumper Car Pavilion for the final Bumper Car Squares dance of the year, with live music by Rachel Eddy, Em Hammond, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer, and calling by Beth Molaro. Tickets will be sold at the door, children 12 and under are FREE!

Also on Saturday, the Yellow Barn Gallery will host an artist reception for the 30th Annual Juried Members Show. Juried by Adah Rose Bitterbaum of Adah Rose Gallery, the exhibition will be open weekends only from December 7 - December 22.

We're collecting donations for Nourish Now at Winter's Eve and throughout the month of December. Drop off non-perishable food items in the box on the 2nd Floor of the Arcade Building. Thank you!

Read on for more of this week's happenings, including upcoming classes. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
