Friday, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
and Saturday, 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM

for a brief 30-Minute Browsing OR computer session.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we strongly encourage families, or anyone wishing to use the computer, to call ahead to schedule an appointment, so that a preferred time is reserved. Thank you!

For safety during our outside programs, groups should be spaced 6 feet apart to account for social distancing. Bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on, except for chair yoga.

Art Wall Exhibit
Landscapes by Bob Jamback
Local artist Bob Jamback is back with a sampling of his work from the last two years.
You may recognize Bela Brook, off Grapevine Road. Also included are some of his favorite paintings of the Maine coast, and some very special Halloween characters.
The paintings are oil on canvas and acrylic on panels.
We hope that you will enjoy Bob's beautiful paintings. Please stop by!

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

A new StoryWalk is up.
Enjoy the changing seasons with our new StoryWalk, Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak. Pages are set up for walkers to read each laminated page of a story (attached to stakes) and installed around the library. This is a great way for readers to enjoy and interact with a story in an outdoor setting, while promoting physical activity. Start right outside our door on School Street, and make your way around the building. Please social distance. Thank you!

Our new Playaway Launchpads are now available for checkout.
These pre-loaded tablets have interactive learning apps and games that are just perfect for prechoolers and elementary students. Each tablet is already loaded with games such as math, science, transportation, art. A new experience with every Launchpad checked out. They come with a durable cover. No internet connection or camera. They are hassle and worry-free.

Orion Starblast Telescope
Did you know that we have a telescope available for you to check out? Adult patrons in good standing can borrow the telescope for one week. The telescope was donated by the NH Astronomical Society as part of the Library Telescope Program. Stop in and ask about it!

Award-winning author and pop culture historian Martin Gitlin hosts this fun and enlightening presentation based on his book, The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time. He is the only author to actually rank the best of the best, including I Love Lucy, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, Frasier and Modern Family. He will show funny snippets from those shows and others, challenge patrons with sitcom trivia (including identifying cool theme songs!), discuss the criteria he used to rank the best of the best and talk about how sitcoms have evolved over the decades in humor, presentation and content. This program is really entertaining so join in on the fun!

New Hampshire Humanities recently launched a book group initiative called Perspectives. Our library was awarded two grants to host these wonderful facilitated virtual events.
