An Important Message for
ICS families, we are coming up on the last two weeks of remote learning and we cannot be more thankful for all of the work done by our staff, families, and students. We completely understand how difficult this has been, we have talked with so many of you and we are always here if you need something, please reach out. While it is close to the end of this school year, we are not quite done yet. It is so important to finish consistently and strong as we go into the summer.
To assist in making sure that families are aware of what can still be worked on, your child's classroom teachers will send communication to families about any missing work by Wednesday, June 3rd.
Please take a look at the Specials and Native Language experiences and reach out to those teachers if you have questions or engagement concern in those areas. This time has been challenging and some may have a large amount of work not completed. Your child’s teacher can help guide you to what assignments would be the best to make sure to complete prior to the last day, please feel free to reach out to them. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (414) 525-6189.
While I know that you are dealing with many challenges and aspects of uncertainty, having students finish up with strong routines and expectations is the greatest way to show our love. Staying strong through difficulty is a foundational skill for success in school and life. When we return to school we will have to work together more than ever to prepare students for future success. ICS is committed to doing everything we can, but we cannot do it alone. Hang in there, reach out with questions, finish strong, and know that we miss and love you all and can’t wait to be back together again soon.
Mr Dropik, Head of School
