Dear PTA Advocates of Duval County:

Whew! What a year. I think most of us have experienced every emotion in the book. So many of our children now stand at the edge of their public-school journey, ready to plunge into their next adventure, but anxious about exactly what the future will look like for them. We’re lucky in PTA world in the sense that even though we don’t know what the future holds, our mission remains firm. How we’ll go about it might continue to evolve, but I have been so amazed at how flexible, adaptable, and innovative your PTAs have been during this crisis. As our year closes, I know we’re all looking ahead with big plans but please stop and celebrate that YOU DID IT!!
Duval County has amazing PTAs and PTSAs! We’re looking forward to celebrating that with you soon and taking a quick breath before we get back to building a bridge together.

Theresa Rogers
