Overnight lane restrictions on SH-55 tonight, March 1 until Friday, March 4

Overnight lane restrictions will occur on SH-55 between the Karcher Interchange and Middleton Road beginning tonight, March 1. Contractors are conducting survey work as a part of the design process for the Karcher Interchange project.

WHAT TO EXPECT: - Restrictions will begin at 10 p.m. each night. - At least one lane will be open in each direction. - Lanes will re-open each day by 5 a.m. - Work is expected to be complete by Friday, March 4.

The Idaho Transportation Department is designing improvements to the Karcher Interchange in Nampa to improve safety and reduce congestion. Growth in this area has outpaced the capacity at this interchange. Learn more about the project at itdprojects.org/84corridor. The project is being funded with Transportation Expansion and Congestion Mitigation (TECM) funds as part of the Leading Idaho TECM Program.
