Bethel Summer Toy Drive

We have a few opportunities coming up for everyone to volunteer Volunteer Needed- Do you like to make people feel cared for? Celebrated? Then you may be the person we are looking for to help with our greeting card ministry. If you are interested please contact Kim Williams at administrator@bethelwinchester.com Saturday August 20th We will be removing the dead spruce tree at the north entrance to the church, "sprucing up" (no pun intended) the bed around the new sign, and removing the trees and vines around the trash dumpster enclosure. We will have beverages available as it will probably be a warm day. More details will be coming later in August. Looking for volunteers to trim the "Leatherleaf viburnum" and the "Cherry laurel" around the Mission Hall entrance. As you can see in the picture these plants are greatly overgrown and are in need of some TLC.  We will haul away all the cuttings so we just need trimmers to get in there and wrestle these plants back into manageable shape. Once we have volunteers we will work to find an amicable date to do the work. LOWER BETHEL / OFFICE REMINDER

Per the advice of our facility manager, David Shoberg, lower Bethel is currently "off limits" until the renovation is complete. However, this DOES NOT affect the Bethel Office, which will remain open during the renovation. The office will now be open 9:00am-1:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry would love for you to join them at some of their gatherings! They have a weekly Women's Coffee Hour that gets together every Thursday at 8:30 via Zoom. Meeting ID 86309309339 Password is Jesus4U First Friday Fellowship The women's group gets together the First Friday of every month at 9:30am at Panera Bread on Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester. They would also like to let you know that their Bible Study will resume on Tuesday's at 6pm in the library.

Men's Ministry Update NEW!!!!

Beginning Sunday, July 10th men are invited to hang out after worship on Sundays for a time of fellowship, sharing, and support. We will meet in the library. So grab a coffee and "hang out" with your brothers in Christ. No planned agenda, simply a place to have a laid-back time of conversation with others. Monthly Men's Breakfast We meet on the first Saturday of each month at Backseat Bar and Grill from 8:30-9:30. Pastor Dave and others will lead devotions and conversation.

Worship Assistant Sign Ups for the Summer

We are still in need of people to sign up to serve over the summer in worship assistance roles, i.e. ushers, greeters, readers, prayers, communion assistants, etc. The sign up sheets and volunteer guidelines are in the Fellowship Hall where we are now worshipping. Please take a moment to sign up and take a turn helping make Sunday morning happen in an effective and smooth manner. If you have not signed up before, and have questions beyond the guidelines, please feel free to reach out to Kim Williams, new Church Administrator (administrator@bethelwinchester.com).
