LILIES WITH A PURPOSE
Honor or remember a loved one for $30 this Easter. Donations will benefit our local Salvation Army Shelter of Hope, and the form is on our sign-ups page.
FPC BOOK CLUB
The book club will discuss The Wounded Generation: Coming Home After World War II by David Nasaw on Monday, March 9 at 7pm in the parlor. All are welcome to join us!
YOUTH SUNDAY
Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 8. Our high school youth have begun preparations for this year’s Youth Service, FPC Runs on Jesus, and cannot wait to share it with you.
MARCH MADNESS
On Wednesday, March 18, we’ll celebrate FPC’s 153rd Birthday with a special WNS March Madness event. This fun night is for all ages. Sign up online!
HOLY WEEK
Our Maundy Thursday service will be in the fellowship hall at 6:30pm on April 2. On Easter Sunday, we will not have a Faith Formation hour, but we will have three services. Join us for our Sunrise service at 6:30am in the columbarium, our Kairos Easter service at 9:15am in the fellowship hall, and our Sanctuary Easter service at 11:15am.
PRAYER REQUESTS
We have an additional option for submitting prayer requests. You’ll find this form online with our sign ups. The submissions will go directly to our ministerial staff.
FAMILY MISSION OPPORTUNITY
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national organization that builds beds for children without one. A new Hickory chapter is looking for volunteers and donations, and our own Bobbi Trick (bobbitrick@gmail.com) can provide details on how your family can serve.
ADULT MISSION OPPORTUNITY
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is sponsoring two upcoming adult mission trips. The first one involves working on the grounds of Camp Grier April 7-10. The week of May 31-June 6, a group will work in Spruce Pine on Helene recovery. Please contact Bobbi Trick (bobbitrick@gmail.com) for more information.
