RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT FPC
We’ll host a Red Cross blood drive in the Middle School room this Thursday, July 9 from 1:30pm-6pm. Catawba County has a critical, ongoing need for blood. To sign up to donate, please visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Sponsor Code “fpchickory.”
SUBMIT NAMES FOR THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying church members to serve as elders on Session. Each year the Nominating Committee creates a slate of such candidates, which is then presented to the congregation for approval. It is important for the Nominating Committee to represent the diversity of the congregation, and so we invite you to submit recommendations for those who might serve on the committee by Monday, July 13. NEXT SUMMER FELLOWSHIP NIGHT
If you are in town on Wednesday, July 22, meet your church family at the Dairy Queen (1124 First Ave SW) at 5:30pm! We’ll all go Dutch and enjoy some food and fellowship. Come for ice cream, dinner, or both! There’s no need to sign up, but we hope you’ll show up!
