REGULATORY UPDATES

PURA is scheduled to launch its new electronic filing system on Friday, May 14, 2021. In preparation for the launch, narrated tutorials and other information has been posted on PURA's "Announcement of New Case Management System" page. Additionally, PURA is offering two separate pre-launch training workshops specific to the new Interrogatory Module on Monday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to noon.

As part of the transition to the new electronic filing system, PURA is issuing a filing moratorium, which is scheduled to take effect between Friday, May 7th and Thursday, May 13. No filings will be accepted and no documents will be posted by PURA during this transition period. Any compliance filings due during this period may be filed on Friday, May 14 and will be deemed timely filed.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Connecticut’s House of Representatives on Thursday, May 6 passed H.B. 6526, An Act Concerning Electric Suppliers. The bill, which can be found here, now heads to the State Senate for consideration.
