Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Happy Easter! On behalf of Father Mark and all the Paulists, may the Risen Christ bless you and our world with peace, new hope, and new life!

Upon his election, Leo XIV echoed the Risen Christ’s first words to the gathered disciples after the Resurrection, “Peace be with you.” Leo dedicated his ministry to peace in our world that is plagued by ongoing wars.

Drawing upon the witness of St. Francis of Assisi, the saint of peace, Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed 2026 as a Special Jubilee Year commemorating the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus — his passing into eternal life. For Francis peace was not an idea but rather a mission — rebuilding the Church, serving the poor, and crossing boundaries of fear and hostility. In our own time, marked by political tension, global conflict, and personal uncertainty, this special year calls us to be instruments of the peace of the Risen Christ.

We strive to embody that peace by embracing our mission, “wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.” Thank you for your stewardship of our mission - from serving at the liturgy, singing, and in our outreach programs.

Inspired by St. Francis and his habit of greeting all people with “Peace and all good,” may the peace of the Risen Christ bless you and your family come upon you. Blessed Easter!

Peace and blessings,

Father Gil

P.S. Our school will be on Easter break next week. On Easter Monday, daily mass will be at 9am and the Parish Offices will be closed.

Thank you for your generosity sustains the Paulist mission. There is still time to participate. Your participation in the appeal as a sign of unity. Whatever amount you give helps our mission and is a sign of our mission: "Wherever you are in your faith journey, you are welcome!" We are grateful for your support! Thank you!

We invite you to use the reply envelopes in the church or donate at paulist.org/apa.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are called to live that same Resurrection faith. The Together in Mission Annual Appeal reveals God’s great work through so many programs and initiatives. In our support, we are supporting our Church’s mission and playing a part in proclaiming, Christ is risen. Make your gift to the Together in Mission Annual Appeal, and help make Christ's presence known to those who need it most.
