2022 Resolutions
Five resolutions are being presented before the Annual Conference of East Ohio. You may read them in their entirety on the AC 2022 Webpage here.

Would you like to be involved with AC 2022 as a voting member?
The Three Rivers District is still seeking to fill a few members-at-large positions. If you are interested please contact your pastor immediately. Upon the recommendation of your local church council, your pastor should notifty the district office. Your name will be lifted for approval at the May 1 Spring District Conference.

E-Mail & Communications
Each clergy and lay member to AC must use a unique email (one that is not shared by anyone else at AC). If you need help creating a free e-mail address for registration, please contact Joy at the district office. All information about Annual Conference will be sent to the e-mail address used for registration.

The Agenda, Rules, and Administrative Process Committee has made the decision that voters must be physically inside the voting area at the John S. Knight Center to vote. This year for both Annual Conference and Clergy Executive Session we will use hand-held voting devices that will be distributed onsite to those who registered by Friday, May 13.

If you are sick, please stay home. Wearing a mask during Annual Conference is currently optional. Some may choose to wear a mask for their own sense of comfort or because of health conditions. Please honor and respect the decisions of your colleagues.

How is the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) responding?
UMCOR’s work in Ukraine is being funded with gifts to Advance #982450, International Disaster Response and Recovery. Grants for immediate relief have been given to United Methodist partners in Ukraine as well as neighboring nations—Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia—to support those who remain in Ukraine as well as those who have fled the violence. In addition, grants are being awarded to partners like ACT Alliance, a global faith-based coalition working in 120 countries around the world. These grants are providing humanitarian assistance in the form of food, water, clothing, shelter and other necessary supplies.
We are in continuous dialogue with UMC entities and other partners throughout Europe to identify additional ways UMCOR might assist. The situation in Eastern Europe is evolving and Global Ministries and UMCOR will continue to respond in the months and years ahead. More FAQ regarding how to help the Ukrainian effort.

Individuals and churches wishing to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian may contribute to Advance #982450, UMCOR International Disaster Response and Recovery. This fund will provide direct assistance to those remaining in Ukraine as well as the Ukrainians fleeing to neighboring countries. 100% of all Advance contributions go to the designated cause.

Gifts to support the people of Ukraine can be made in the following ways:
  • Online at
  • By phone: 888-252-6174
  • By check with “Advance #982450-Ukraine” written on the memo line, either mailed and addressed to Global Ministries/UMCOR, GPO, P.O. Box 9068, New York, NY, 10087-9068 or given at or through any United Methodist church.
