THRIVE Team Spotlight
Congratulations to THRIVE Co-PI Dr. Phil Vlisides on his PCORI Grant!
Dr. Vlisidies, along with Sharon Inouye, MD, MPH, will be comparing two ways of preventing delirium. Delirium is a common and life-threatening complication of hospitalization and major surgery for older adults, often leading to loss of independence and considerable healthcare costs. It also causes distress for patients, families, and clinicians. Read more about the team's research plan.
