INSPIRATIONAL NEWSLETTER

THURSDAY

AUGUST 6, 2026

We pray that this newsletter and its contents that we share will help you on your daily journey with Christ, causing you to grow in the ways of the Lord.

The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

This is why we teach so that you can grow stronger in your faith until unity comes in the body of Christ. Take what you have learned and share it with others so that we can further the kingdom for Jesus Christ.

THE LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK

I have had this in my file for over ten years. I read it today and thought I would share this. Here it is:

THE LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK

“One day I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car

jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi

driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car

by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head

around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled

and waved at the guy; and I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined

your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi

driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage

Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run

around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and

full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a

place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't

take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move

on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at

work, at home, or on the streets.”

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage

trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the

morning with regrets, Remember the golden rule. “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also them likewise.” Luke 631

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it.

PROPHETIC WORDS AND EXHORTATIONS

PROHETIC EXHORTATION

When you make the decision to want more from God, He will put you in situations that only He can get you out of. One day I asked him "Lord, I want to be more like you." He told me to lay down on the floor. I did, and then he said, "I am going to crucify you." I didn't like hearing that, but crucifying the flesh is the only way to get closer to God. If you decide to give him your all, expect the crucifixion to go along with it. It will be worth it though, because there is nothing like that closer personal intimate relationship with God to change your life.

Thursday Thought For The Day

I miss my family. Yes we text back and forth and there is an occasional phone call. But it isn’t the same as one one contact with each other. It is amazing that you can live in the same city state or county and still feel the throws of loneliness. In the past, families were in relationship with each other. But how times have changed. It seems like the more knowledge that we have nowadays; it has allowed our lives to become less dependent on one another. I could be wrong and I know there are a lot of reasons why relationships fall off along the way. Did you know there is a scripture in Psalms that says when your mother and father forsake you, God will take you up?

“When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Just know that even IF some people are saying that you'll never make it through the obstacles you’ve been facing; And that you're on the verge of being taken down and put under. Oh, but God is saying to you; "Child of Mine that will NOT happen; For I am turning things around, putting you over and taking you on UP to higher ground". Yes, those kind of folks may indeed have tried to destroy you; But what they don’t know is that...You're NOT fighting a losing battle for a faithful GOD is on YOUR side...And He already has great VICTORY assigned to you to be on Victory Drive. So you pick yourself up and get ready to THRIVE. Well now are you ready to move UP for you’re about to be moving IN?
